- Scrub the window glass with vinegar
- You don’t need any chemical-based product
- Boil the vinegar before using it for cleaning
- Put on rubber gloves
- Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the white vinegar
- Scrub the paint with the vinegar-soaked rag
- Continue the process till the paint softens
- If the paint doesn’t soften by just using white vinegar, use mineral spirits
- Mineral spirits will be needed to lift small flecks of paint
- Dish soap can also be used for paint removal and cleaning the window
- Acetone or nail polish remover can be used to lift dry paint
- Scrape off any excess paint with a razor blade
- Make sure the paint surface is wet before scraping off
