01. Choose a Cloudy Day or Find a Cover

02. Vacuuming

Use a vacuum cleaner or any other cleaning methods, like a soft brush, to remove any dust and dirt on the surface of the glass, frame, and tracks. If you skip this step, the debris on the surface may create scratches on the glass surface while wiping or even make stains later on.

03. Prewash

Use the DIY solution we mentioned earlier to scrub your window. Use a sponge so that you don’t do any damage to the surfaces. Rub every nook and corner of the window before rinsing it off with water.

04. Squeegee

Once you rinse off the prewash solution thoroughly, you can use the vinegar/water solution to clean your windows. However, use a squeegee in the up to down or side to side motion to not miss any point. The squeegee’s blades go smooth on the windows’ surface and will give you a shiny finish. On the other hand, clean the squeegee’s blade every time you wipe so that the dirt is not taken back into the window.

Wipe the window clean with a microfiber cloth. We strongly recommend microfiber because it is lint-free. It will wipe away the residuals of the cleaning solution and other dirt as well.
